「賭けに乗る」と宣言することは、自分に良い手がある、と宣言することと同じです。だれかがレイズする、ということは最高の手なのだから賭ける金額もそれに相応しい金額にしたい、という意思表示にほかなりません。一般的な話、プレーヤーそれぞれになにか良い手がきたらばレイズし、悪い手であれば下りるのが当然と考えられています。
だからといって誰でもがこの原則に従うようになってしまうと、戦略など必要なくなります。現実にはほとんどのプレーヤーがこの原則に従わず、うまく相手を手玉に取ってやろうと考えています。これからそうした戦略的、戦術的なゲームプレーをお話しして行こうと思います。

1. ブラインドースティーリング：　あなたがディーラーの位置にある場合、あなたの左側がブラインドになり、あなたがその位置でコールすると、それはブラインド・スティーリングと呼ばれます。これをやられるとブラインドはほとんどの場合、チェックせずに下りてしまいます。
   
   この作戦であなたが金持ちになるわけではありませんが、その回のゲームを早く終わらせる結果につながります。早く終われば早くつぎの手を見られる、この点に間違いはありません。
   
   ブラインド・スティーリングはトーナメントの戦術としてもとてもすばらしいもので、特にブラインドが上がれば効果があります。

2. スチールーレイズ：　自分の座り場所が最後にアクションをとる位置の場合、ほかのプレーヤー全員はすでにあなたに対するチェックの状況にあります。そこでレイズすると、賭けの相手を限定できる効果があり、時にはポットを取れる場合が生じます。ただしこうした行動をお奨めできる状況は限定され、フロップを得ていて自分の順位を確認したいときに利用することが基本です。
3. チェック－レイジング：　相手のレイズを誘う意思を秘めてチェックをかけ、それから相手のレイズに自らのレイズを重ねる、そんな作戦をチェックーレイジングと読んでいます。相手が自分の手に安心してしまい、そうした心情のまま賭け金をあげてくるところへ、あなたのレイズをぶつけるのです。
   
   たとえば、私が早い位置にいてエースとクイーンを持っているところへ、フロップがきてＱ－Ａ－Ａになったとしましょう。こんなどきどきする手がきたら、相手をしていただいている皆さんに決して降りてはほしくないのです。そこでチェックをかけ、誰かがベットするのを待ちます。相手がベットしてくると、わたしはしばらく相手が悩むような微妙な金額でレイズし返します。
4. オープナー：　最初に何らかのアクションをとらねばならない時にレイズします。この戦略は参加するプレーヤーの数を限定したいときや、インフォメーション・ベットの（相手の状況を知りたい）時にに利用します。（一般に、手の良いプレーヤーはこのときコールします。）ほとんどの人たちが降りるでしょうが、残る人たちはあなた同様強気なプレーヤーなのか、もしくは本当に良い手が来ていると考えられます。
5. スキージング：　相手のプレーヤーもしくは複数のプレーヤーが（ストレートやフラッシュを追求して）ゲームから降りそうもないときにレイズすることを言います。このタイミングでのレイズはつぎのカードに賭けている相手の気持を萎えさせる効果があります。
   
   たとえば、同一スーツでＪと１０が手元にあります。そのとき、フロップが２－Ａ－８でコミュニティーにはクラブが２枚出ているとします。クラブがもう一枚くればフラッシュの可能性があありはするものの、フラッシュが成立しないときには全く意味のない金額を、相手が賭けてきたらやはり降りますよね。

How you bet

"Bet" is the word when you make a bet that is a declaration that you have a good hand. Well. most of the case. When a player raises, they are saying that they have the best hand and they'll be glad to risk their asset for a certain extent.
Most of the case, players are supposed to raise when they have a good hand and those who have a bad hand are expected to fold. If every one of the players stuck to this policy, there would be no need for any strategy. However, most of the players doesn't follow those principal and try whatever they think the best. Right! They try to neglect the mathematical principle at all.
Can they win? In the long run, they will lose, of course. The following describes the some strategic plays based upon the psychology. No, they are nothing to do with mathematics . For that matter, the best solution is that you don't play gamble at all.

1. Blind-Stealing: When you are on the dealer button and that you have the blinds on your left, a raise is often called blind-stealing. This may cause the blinds to fold, stead of simply checking. This strategy will never make you rich though, it ends the game faster and you may be dealt with a new hand earlier (with the hope of winning and adding a few tips to your stack, of course).
   
   Blind stealing is a tremendous tactic within a tournament game, especially when the blinds become very rich.

2. Steal-Raise: If you are the last o act and all players have checked to you, a simple raise can limit the number of active players on take the pot. This move is only recommended if you have hit a piece of the flop an want to see where you stand.



3. Check raising: The act of checking to your opponent with the intention of luring them to raise, so that you can re-raise them back. your intention is to betting so you can re-raise back at them. For example, I was in early position and was holing AQ and the flop came down as "Q-A-A". I didn't want to scare anyone out of the pot so I checked and waited for someone to bet. My opponent bets, and I raise him back with a substantial amount that kept him thinking for a minute.



4. The Opener: Raising when you are first to acct. This strategy is used to limit the number of players and is an information bet (Usually players with strong hand will call). Many will fold, but the ones remaining will either be equally aggressive or truly have a good had.



5. Squeezing: Raising when suspecting another player or players may be on a draw (Players looking for a straight, flush, etc). Raising discourages players taking a chance on their draws. For exap@le, I was holding a suited hand J10, and the flop came down as 2-A-8 with two clubs on the community. One more club would have game me a strong flush possibility, but my opponent bet a strong amount that wasn't worth gambling if I didn't hit my flush.

テキサス・ホールデムとは、こりゃぁもう参加者と彼ら（もちろん彼女も含めて）がどう座るか、これに尽きるというのです。ギャンブルでこれほど参加者によって影響の出るゲームはほかにありません。そりゃぁたしかにポーカーならどれでもそういえますが、テキサス・ホールデムはまた格別なのですよ。

もうお分かりですね？ホール・カードを遅く受取るポジションに座るほうが有利なんです。遅くなればなるほど敵のアクションを見てから自分の行動決めるのですから当然です。経験談をお話しときましょう。
100円-200円の無制限賭けを某所で楽しんでおりました。

ディーラーであるにもかかわらず２と９という、なんとも気の滅入る手がきたんです。一方フロップはA、４そして７でした。順序が先のプレーヤが1500円のベットです。二人が降りてわたしの番になりました。本来なら降りてしかるべき手ではありますが、場に出ている1500円が気に入りません。

わたしはこのプレーヤをa chicken、すなわち「脇を固めた弱虫」と見ていたんです。たとえすてきな手がきてもチェックするのが関の山、と考えていた奴が、一体全体どんな強気の虫に取り付かれたのか知りませんが、こんな早い時期にレイズしてくる理由が分かりません。フロップにエースが2枚、これが理由とはとても考えられません。

で、わたしはコールしました。

次に場に出てきたのはハートの７です。フロップはAとA、４そして７の四枚になりました。そして相手は2000円乗せてきたんです。これは驚きです。これに付き合うには少しばかり勇気が必要です。そこでさらにもう3000円をこれに載せたのです。

結局彼は降りてしまいました。ポットは無事わたしの懐に入る結果になりました。

もうお分かりですよね、遅い順番がどれほど有利になる。勝負の相手がどんな決心をしているのかが手に取るように読めるのです。早い順番のプレーやにできることといえば、チェックして次ぎにレイズする位のもので、この場合の意図は脅し以外の何物でもありません。

気が短く積極策＝強気の作戦しか考えない相手を罠に落とすことはできたとしても、冷静な相手に通じる作戦ではありません。テキサス・ホールデムでは両端＝最初と最後の順番のプレーヤ担った場合には、とにかく注意することです。これが最低条件と申し上げてよいでしょう。まぁギャンブルそのもので何がしかの結果を出そうとお考えなら、冷静さを保つ以外これといった対策があるわけではありませんがね。

Cross your finger for your sitting position.

People and your sitting position is what is all about Texas Holdem. I have never met one single person who said the position has nothing to do with the game. Playing your hole cards at latter postion can be much more profitable than sitting at earlier position.

The reason is that you will be having more information before you take action of betting. Here's my experience as an example:

I got awful 2 and 9 hand on the dealer button. Luckily, I was at the dealer button. Flop was A、４&７. A guy sitting in the earliest made $15 bet. Following 2 players folded and I, too, should have folded if I was to follow the principle. But the guy who placed $15 bet didn't seem to be comfortable. I identified him as a weak-tight a few games ago, then, why would he raise so early instead of checking trying to trap others, I called, because of this.

Then there is 7 to the flop, making it A, A, 4 , and 7. That chicken raise another $15. There I got a murmur from heaven. I acted against theory to follow my instinct. I through in $15 and added another 25. See? That $25 kicked chicken out and I got the pot!

Playing late position gives you the idea where you are standing by watching things going on at the table. On the other hand, players at early position have to take some kind of action to know where the other players are situated.

Or take further aggressive action like the example above so that the early player can trap later
players at the end. Now you know why you have to play cautiously according to the position where you sit at Texas Holdem poker table.

始めるべきところから始めましょうか、まずはテーブルについているプレーヤそれぞれの目的を読み取ろうじゃありませんか。右手に座っている奴は単に勉強せねばと思いつつプレーに参加しているように見える、その向こうにいるひげのオッちゃんは楽しみでやってるようにも見えるし、ここ以外で稼ぐつもりはないようにも見える、などなど。

とくに今回のテーマになっている青天井のTexas holdem pokerではターゲットにする相手をはっきり意識して、そいつにあくまでもくっついていくことが大切なんです。某映画から私が学んだことを伝えておきましょう：「はじめの30分で誰がみんなの標的になっているのか分からないようなら、自分が標的になっていると思え！」

誰が勝っているのか、負けつつあるのかこれをしっかり見極めることが必要です。あたりまえのことですが、負けているプレーヤーが良いプレーをしているわけはありません。したがって、負けているプレーヤーをターゲットにするところから始める、これが一番わかりやすい方法です。

青天井ホールデムではとにかく相手の状態や癖をしっかり理解するところからすべてが始まります。昨日大勝した戦略が今日も有効である可能性は極めて低いのです。今日のゲームプランが理解できていなければならず、そのゲームプランは正しいものでなければなりません。

もう一つヒントをさし上げて今日のポストを終わりにしてましょう。ターゲットにすべきは酔っ払いです。これは言われなくても分かってますよねぇ？

The first 5 minutes

Let's start where we should. We must read what the other players are planning. In other words, you'd better to find or guess their purpose of playing. A player sitting on your right may be a novice and planning to learn the game for today, a pop with beard sitting next to him looks like having fun playing this game or the pop may be the guy trying to earn big from this game table, and etc.

You must pay attention to everyone sitting around the table and read their purpose of playing no limit Texas holdem poker. Then determine your own target to follow. Let me tell you what I have learned from a movie: "If you were not able to find the target of the opponents within 30 minutes, then you are the one"

It is necessary to spot who's winning and who's losing. It's not that tough. Because the losing player cannot be playing well.

相手になる人たちは？

すでに説明のとおり、勝負を進める上で同じテーブルについている人たちに関する情報は欠かせません。その中でもとくに理解しておかなければならない重要な情報が、それぞれの勝負の進め方です。ぼくの場合、テーブルについても初めの5分間はゲームを黙って眺めています。この間ボタンやブラインドの機会を一回は見送ることになります。ただし、AA、KK、AQなど絶好の手がくれば話は別ですが。

誰が弱虫で、手ごわそうな相手は誰か、これを見極めてから弱虫と思われるプレーヤーのときにポットへ賭け金を投入します。それでも、ベットし始めるまえにもう一つ意識していることがあります。

着席順をチェック

改めて解説しますが、着席順はみすごしにできない情報です。遅い席にいる場合や最後にアクションする位置（望むべくはディーラーボタンの位置）に座っているプレーヤーは、ほかのプレーヤーと比べてとても有利な席についています。席順が遅くなればなるほど、ほかのプレーヤーの賭け状況を見る機会が増えるわけですから、最終的にはポットの資金額に影響を及ぼす力があると言っても過言ではないでしょう。手札の価値を大きく凌駕する価値が席順にはある、と時折感じます。

スタック・サイズ（資金額）

資金が豊富なプレーヤーは敵対するプレーヤーさえも支配できますし、恐れを抱かせることも可能で、ときにはポットもさせず、降ろしてしまったり、そもそもゲームに参加できないようにしてしまうことができます。一方資金=チップの少ないプレーヤーを馬鹿にしてはいけません。彼らがポットにとどまっているときには、通常オールイン（手持ち全額をベット）をどこかで考えている場合があるのですから。

 

How are the opponents playing?

As I have described previously, you cannot play without knowing what your opponents are doing. If you start playing as you sit at a table, you may miss some important information on opponents. I watch the game for 5 minutes. I may pass my button and blind unless I get AA, KK, AQ and etc. In this case,
I may go in.
Otherwise, I join after checking who the fishes are, who the Rock or Strong players are.

Yet, I have another thing I pay close attention before betting.

Position I am sitting

Al though I will discuss this subject further at later section, it is very important to know where the button is. You must realize how nice it is to sit at later position (hopefully sitting right side of the dealer). Because, you will take action after all other players indicate their decision. You have the power to influence the amount of the pot. It may have much higher value than your hand, sometime.

The stack others have

If you have the large stack of chips on the table, you may be able to dominate the table, let the other players scare off, or force others to fold or chase out of the game. If that happens, you cannot neglect the player with small amount of chips. As far as they stay in pot, they may be a proof of preparing for the all-in. That's the fun part of this game, to tell you the truth.

まぁこの世の中にプレ・フロップのところでテキサスホールデムの戦略を明解にイメージしているプレーヤーなぞまず期待できません。ポーカーテーブルに着き、回りのプレーヤーは言うにおよばす、そもそも自分の座っているシートがどんな感じのものだったかさえ忘れて、ひたすらすばやくプレーを続ける事に神経を集中します。

これは一般のポーカープレーヤー共通の間違いであることは言うまでもありません。ゲームに神経を集中する前に、儲けるためにはかけねばならぬとばかりに資金と場の賭け金との間に視線をさ迷わせる前に、以下のプリフロップ戦略をしていただきたいのです。

プレーヤーの人数：

テーブルについている人数は何人ですか？フルハンズ（満席）かショートハンズ（６人以下）か。満席のときというのは一般に９人もしくは１０人プレーヤーがテーブルについている状態を表しています。このときには、だれかが強い手もしくはオーバーカード（AA, KK, AK, AQなど）である可能性があり、自分の手と比較すればほとんどの場合、相手の勝ち予測されます。

また、誰かのホールカードがずっとフロップとよい相性であることは当然考えられます。こうしたことを考慮して、できるかぎり注意深くプレーする必要があります。実際にカードの状況に集中する前に、もう一つご注意申し上げたいことがあります。

Look around the table

At the very moment when you arrive the game table, you won't expect that someone has clear strategic image of the up coming games. You are one of them. You are too busy to focus the game that is going on right in front of your eyes so that you won't be conscious of the chair that you just have sit or of the people that are sitting around the very table, who will be your opponents.

It goes without saying that this is common mistake. Before you focus on the game, you may revise your promise that to earn money you have to bet and looking around the tips that sit in front of the opponents. It is best to the following preflop strategy before you look around or start planning the betting mount.

The number of players:

Make sure how many people are sitting around the table. Is it full hands or short hands? If it looks full, be sure if it is 9 or 10. You need to realize in case that the table is full or pretty close to full, there may be someone with better hands than you have. If you have over cards, you should expect that there is someone who has similar hands.

Or there is this possibility that the hole cards of someone else is better fit to the flop than you do. Think about those matter and you have to be careful start playing your turn. I have one more thing to tell before you start getting into the game. Right, wait for the next post to learn that.

このプレーヤーこそがピラミッドの頂点に君臨する連中です。戦略的にも戦術的にもまともな考え方＝正しい考え方をするし、状況に応じて臨機応変、ゲームごとに参加メンバーや場の流れを見極めて勝負にですべき時には出てきます。そして、困ったことに往々にしてこの連中がテーブルの支配権を掌中に収めてしまうのであります。

もちろん目的は金銭にあり、ですからコールよりもポットにかけてきます。臨機応変な柔軟性を持っているだけに、手を読めないところから相手とするにはとても恐ろしい人たちなのです。

their ultimate purpose is the pot, of course. So they bet on pot rather than the call. It is pretty tough to fight with them because

of the difficulty to read their hands or the current of themselves. Those matter combines to build the awe to them at the table.
If you feel affected, you'd better to leave the table for a while, possibly until the person leave the table to another ones.

This type of players try to play rock solid. It's funny though that if you were real solid person, you should not play gamble, right?
Well, that is because we are human beings. Anyway, this type of players won't take any step unless they have nice two initial cards. If you are one of them, the Rock, you'd know that you'd keep watching most of the games because of your hands.

Then? You are correct! Whenever they, the Rocks, take a step to bet, they have such good hands like; AA, AK, AQ, KK and etc. As you might have guessed, A is for Ace, K is for King and Q for Queen.

They have conquered the fame of "predictable players". If they come to you for raise or call preflop, you must take it the alarm. You may be up against the big hands.

The conclusion? It is needless to say that there happens to start betting predictable players preflop, you yield your way to them. And wait for another chance. Because, as you might be well aware of, there are very small chance to have good hands preflop. So, you won't miss your chance of winning no more than a few. Besides, you have the same probability for yourself, right?

If the Rocks won't start betting preflop, you know now that the players do not have any of the four higher cards. Further, if you do not find any of the higher 4 cards in flop, you know that the Rock won't hit. If you have one A preflop, you know that you are in better position than this predictable player. Right, The point is to keep watch the opponents as close as possible and identify the type of the players you are gaming with.

こちこち野郎：　とにかく堅く堅く行こうとするプレーヤーであります。絶対と思われる手でしか乗ってこないという特性を持っています。手が良くなければ乗らないのですから、ほとんど場を見つめるだけですごしていますが、手が良いとなればどんどんきます。ということは？ピンポーン！乗ってきたときの手札は間違いなく次ぎのいずれかである、と言うことになります。すなわちエースが２枚＝AA、もしくはAJ、KK、AQなどと言うことなのです。Ｋはもちろんキング、Ｑはクイーンです。念のため。

とうぜんのごとく、彼らには「わかりやすいプレーヤー」という称号も奉られています。そしてこのプレーヤーがあなたに対抗してレイズしたり、コールを掛けたりしてきたら、ただちに
危険信号点灯、そしてうっかりするととてつもない手と勝負せねばならなくなっている状況にある、と認識しなければなりません。

結論？いうまでもありません。この種のプレーヤーがプリフロップの時点で降りずに食いついてきたら、直ちに道を譲りましょう。確率としてこうしたプレミアム手札がそろうのはとてつもなく小さいのは分かりますよね？そしてその確率はあなたにも同様に適用されることも忘れないでいただきたい。さらに、「わかりやすいプレーヤー」がプリフロップの状態で乗ってこなければ、エースも絵札も手元にないことの証明ですから、３枚のコミュニティー・カードが配られて、しかもその中にＡ（エース）もＫ（キングなど絵札）もなければ相手はヒットしてきません。そしてあなたの手札にエースが一枚でもあれば自分が間違いなく優位に立っていることが分かります。

こういう場合には多額をベットしちゃいましょう。ポットを獲得するためにもね！

flop（フロップ）：　場(community)に置かれる初めの３枚のカードをこういいます。
preflop（プレフロップ）：　場に３枚のカードが置かれる前の状態＝各プレーヤーに２枚ずつの手札を配り終わった状態をこういいます。
